Have you run out of books to read and the library is closed? But you have a computer? Did you know the library subscribes to Tumblebooks, a database just for kids? It has read-aloud and read-along picture books, chapter books and nonfiction books that you can read on your computer. They are even adding iPad apps for some of their books. Just look at the menu on the lower left side of the Children’s Library page. Click on it and it will take you to the library’s database page. Scroll down until you see the Books and Literature heading. There you will find the link to Tumblebooks. It takes a little work to find, but it’s worth it!
